My third time working on an ATL promotion for Dairylea. This time, I had to design a new toy for the campaign that would be redeemable on their website as part of an on-pack promotion.
There were four to collect - Racer, Skater, Rollerskater and BMXer, each with their own style and characteristics.
Design challenges were creating an entire 3D version of the cow, who has only ever been a flat 2D graphic (see on-packs and also the previous promotions). I was really keen not to lose the cows look with the final product, and we had to keep colour choices and patterns to a minimum due to production. I also enjoyed the product testing and checking in with the factory to sign off the final paint work job.
This is my first ACTUAL toy I have made from concept to completion and it was such a wonderful project to work on, for such a fun brand!
